Pasniedz kā augstāko apbalvojumu saskaņā ar Goda zīmes nolikumu Černobiļas atomelektrostacijas avārijas seku likvidēšanas dalībniekiem un cietušām personām, kuri aktīvi piedalās biedrības un sabiedriskā darbā, medicīnas, sociāliem, pašvaldību, valsts institūciju darbiniekiem, juridiskām personām, ārvalstu pilsoņiem un juridiskām personām, par lielu ieguldījumu Černobiļas atomelektrostacijas avārijas seku likvidēšanas dalībnieku un cietušo personu veselības un sociālā aprūpē, kā arī par sniegto atbalstu un sadarbību ar Latvijas Savienību „Černobiļa".



Līdz 2010.gada 1.oktobrim ir apbalvoti 203 fiziskās, kā arī juridiskās personas.
